About the Role
Reporting to the Senior Manager Farming, you’ll be responsible for leading and supervising a small livestock team, following work plans, effectively preparing for the work activity and ensuring all cattle handling and processing activity is undertaken safely, efficiently and with the highest standards of animal welfare principals applied for up to 5000 head of cattle across 27,000 acres.

About you
You’re naturally passionate about livestock and have well developed cattle handling and horsemanship skills. You can be relied upon work autonomously, have a genuine interest in coaching and developing others, along with:
- Extensive animal husbandry skills and knowledge
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain a safe place of work and proactively address hazards and risks
- Attention to detail & ability to accurately record livestock data
- Sound computer literacy
- Manual Driver’s licence
- Firearms licence or the ability to obtain one
- Commitment to highest standards of animal welfare
- Truck licence advantageous
