Your responsibilities will be to:
- Provide customer service above and beyond expectations
- Surprise and delight customers with consistent, delicious food
- Ensure fresh and appealing displays by keeping cases and shelves clean and well stocked
- Maintain accurate department signage and pricing
- Organising weekly banking for the store
- Create rosters for your team in the service department
- Provide support and training for the team
- Assist with the training and induction of new employees within the department
- Assist with customer enquiries
- Maintain a safe, clean and well-organised working and shopping environment
- Follow and comply with all applicable health and safety procedures
The right person:
- Will have previous experience working in retail
- Be customer focused
- Enjoy working in a team
- Have excellent communication skills
- Be passionate about good food
- Is flexible in availability, it's a busy store across 7 days!
- Have previous experience as a supervisor in a busy food retail store
- Have good head for numbers, cashing up and banking
