About the role
Due to expansion within the team, Ventia are seeking a SHEQ Advisor to support our Motorways & Tunnels contract. The Safety, Health, Environment, Quality (SHEQ) Advisor provides coaching, instruction, and advice to Ventia staff and their subcontracts across the Motorways & Tunnels Network throughout Sydney. The successful candidate will be offered a full-time permanent position with flexible hours and working locations.

Duties and Responsibilities
Utilising systems and processes to foster an integrated approach to SHEQ management in delivering on legal, contractual and business requirements
Implementing and supporting SHEQ management plans, campaigns, and critical controls across all projects
Leading SHEQ activities including site inspections, observations, audits, investigations, toolboxes and coaching supervisors and site personnel
Undertaking investigations in relation to safety incidents including management of resulting actions and updating systems and documentation accordingly
About you
Tertiary qualification in Workplace/ Occupational Health and Safety, Occupational Hygiene, Health, Environmental or Quality Equivalent
Ability to work night shifts (supporting night works approx. two nights per month)
Have a good attitude and ability to learn
