This role will form part of our core H&S department working back-to-back with colleague on Rio Tinto site.
- Join a highly established Health and Safety department with strong existing processes and procedures.
- Growing team with scope to develop into subject matter expert across Health and Safety, environmental and/or quality services.
- Fifo 8:6 roster working day shifts only and pay included travel to and from site each day.
- Permanent role with long term career prospect opportunities.
Key Criteria:
- At least 4+ years progressive Health & Safety experience within mining or civil earthworks projects.
- Certificate IV in workplace Health and Safety or equivalent
- Certificate IV in training & assessment (TAE)
- Incident investigation qualification (ICAM) – (Highly desirable)
- Rio Tinto Inducted (Highly desirable)
- White card
- Active C" class driver's licence as a minimum
- Willingness to complete pre-employment medical and LABDAS prior to employment.
- Willingness to complete police check prior to employment.
On Offer:
- Full time permanent opportunity
- Fifo 8:6 roster
- 12-hour days including travel to and from site.
- Medical, PPE and flights provided by Eastern Guruma.
- On call support provided for completion of any required inductions/ onboarding forms.
