Summary:
The Health Informaticist will be responsible for managing patient health records and other health-related data, analysing and interpreting health data, and designing and deploying technology solutions that improve patient engagement and support the delivery of patient-centred care. The successful candidate will work in a healthcare facility or other healthcare IT organisation environment and may be required to travel to different healthcare facilities in the country.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement systems for managing health data
- Analyse and interpret health data to identify patterns, trends, and insights
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure that health information technology supports clinical workflows and enhances patient care
- Design and deploy technology solutions that improve patient engagement and support the delivery of patient-centred care
- Oversee the management of project timelines, budgets, and resources
- Stay current with technology trends and developments in the healthcare industry
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics or related field
- Fluency in Electronic Health Records/applications like Epic, Cerner, and other clinical data systems
- Experience in data analysis and interpretation
- Strong project management skills
- Great communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of regulations and privacy laws governing the use and storage of health information, including HIPAA and GDPR
