About the role
This role will contribute to research projects within the STARS Education and Research Alliance, a partnership between Metro North Health and The University of Queensland. This position will be responsible for developing, planning, and implementing research activities as part of research studies and programs. Given the applied Clinical Research studies in the research portfolio, a high level of clinical knowledge and skills in a relevant Health Practitioner discipline is required. The specific focus of this role initially is on the NHMRC-funded RAPSODI study (examining shoulder replacement for osteoarthritis) within Metro North.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Demonstrated high level clinical skills and expert knowledge relevant to the targeted research project
- Demonstrate project management skills, including the ability to proactively identify and manage risks, to meet timeframes and successfully co-ordinate all aspects of the research program.
- Demonstrated capability to develop and undertake research aligned with the STARS Education and Research Alliance, the Metro North
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills at all levels, including consultation and presentation skills and high-level written communication skills.
- Demonstrated digital competency, or an ability to rapidly acquire skills, in software applications relevant to Clinical Research, including MS365 applications and REDCap.
