About the roleWe are looking for a Health, Safety and Environment Analyst to provide generalist support to the Ranger Rehabilitation Project team. The role will include effective coordination of HSE programs, management of procedures and processes and HSE data analysis and reporting. The role will require partnering with ERA employees and contractors on various HSE matters.This role is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic health, Safety and Environment Analyst who is currently working in a similar role to make a positive impact on ERA's Ranger Rehabilitation Project.We are an open, connected global team that includes some of the industry's best and brightest minds.   • Coordinate HSE data, develop reports and highlight insights and opportunities to improve site performance.
  • Maintain records, reports, and documents required to meet corporate and regulatory requirements including injuries, near misses, environmental releases, assurance program, HSE risk register, etc.
  • Collect, register, review, distribute, present and archive HSE data, records, and information.
  • Arrange (and occasionally deliver) HSE training / coaching to team members.
  • Contribute and develop HSE, risk and compliance themes.
  • Assist in the development of HSE documentation.
  • Fulfill pertinent miscellaneous duties/functions as assigned.
What you'll bring

Who we areEnergy Resources of Australia Ltd (ERA) is a publicly listed company with Rio Tinto as its major shareholder. ERA, established in 1979, previously mined and produced uranium oxide from its Ranger mine in the beautiful and rugged Alligator Rivers area of the Northern Territory. The Ranger mine is located on Aboriginal land, surrounded by, but currently separate from, Kakadu National Park.ERA's production operations on the Ranger Project Area ceased in January 2021, with the major focus now shifting to the comprehensive world-class rehabilitation of the Ranger mine that will eventually allow it to be incorporated back into the Kakadu National Park should the Traditional Owners and the Commonwealth Government wish. The Ranger Rehabilitation Project is the largest project of its kind in Australia and possibly the world.
