About the opportunity
As a HSEQ Advisor, you will play a crucial role in providing advice, coaching, guidance, and support to ensure compliance with HSEQ management standards and the optimization of operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all project site HSEQ activities in a professional and timely manner.
- Be visible and interactive in the field or workplace and provide support to workers, supervisors, and managers.
- You will play a key role in the development and continual improvement of the company’s HSEQ Systems
- Implement, and report on progress against specific safety plans and key objective outcomes.
- Assisting supervision with the injury management and return to work processes.
- Assisting with accident / incident investigations.
- Completing site inspections and audits.
About you
- 3+ years experience, at HSEQ Advisor level or similar, ideally within the Mining Resources sector.
- Minimum Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety, with a Diploma in WHS or higher being desirable.
- Thorough comprehension of FSC, ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 requirements.
- Advanced administrative skillset on Microsoft suite and relevant industry systems.
- Have a fluid and considered approach when dealing with risk management and corrective action.
- Demonstrate an open and solution-focused mindset to continuous improvement and business sustainability.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct incident investigations, risk assessments, and hazard and injury management processes.
