Heat Treatment Technician

RCR Mining Technologies has a career opportunity for Heat Treatment Technicians at either our Welshpool Workshop or Client Sites.In this role your responsibilities will include:

• Testing and quality control of Heat Treated products
• Monitoring Heat Treatment operations and dealing with non-conformities
• Ensuring the flow of materials through Heat Treatment is maintained to meet scheduled deliveries
• Receiving and despatching of Heat Treatment products
• Loading and unloading of Furnaces
• Testing of Heat Treatment products to specification
• Setup of Mobile Heat Treatment equipment (Combustion and Electrical)

To be considered for this position, you will need:

• A High Risk Forklift Licence
• Preferably DG, EWP, WAH and CS certificates
• To be physically fit to handle manual work

RCR Heat Treatment has a furnace workshop in Welshpool, Perth, equipped with a range of furnaces to cover a large variety of industrial Heat Treatments. Modular furnace panels also allow furnace-style Heat Treatment to be completed at client sites.
