Job Title: Heavy Diesel Fitters

Location: Multiple WA FIFO Locations
Roster: 2:1 Roster - 12hr days - combination of day & night shift per roster
Rates: $68.75 - $75.00p/h flat rate based on experience, with uplift for nightshift

Unite Resourcing, in collaboration with our valued client in the mining industry, are seeking skilled Heavy Diesel Fitters for an immediate start. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducts maintenance and repairs on various mechanical equipment.
• Participates in planning, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.
• Installs, assembles, and aligns equipment according to specifications.
• Ensures compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Maintains documentation, communicates effectively, and collaborates with the team.
• Keeps tools and equipment well-maintained and participates in training for skill development.

Requirements:

• Relevant Australian Recognised Trade Certificate.
• Proven experience as a Heavy-Diesel Fitter working on trucks, mobile plant, or similar equipment.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems.
• Proficient using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Current & Valid HR Drivers License
• High Risk Forklift license (Desirable)
• Clean National Police Clearance
