From the Whyalla workshop we complete service and repair to:
- On-road heavy vehicles
- Mobile plant and equipment
- 4x4 on and off road vehicles.

Job tasks and responsibilities
Leading Hand
- Coordinate work requests from Customers (both Workshop and Field Service)
- Parts ordering
- Organising the work group each day
Must also be able to
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical and Hydraulic faults on a variety of different ON ROAD, Civil and Mining Earthmoving Fleets
- Complete thorough Servicing
- Complete roadworthy inspections
- Complete component change outs
- Complete component Repair or Rebuilds
- Completion of all required paperwork to a high standard and by due time.
Skills and experience
- Mobile Plant Heavy Vehicle Mechanic Trade certificate or:
- On-Road heavy Vehicle Mechanical Trade Certificate
- 'Do it once, do it right' attitude
- On-Road truck experience
- Strong focus on safety
- Basic computing skills.
- Experience with Tech tool, Insight, jaltest and Gscan equipment
- Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Motivated and hard working with a professional attitude
- Company and customer focused
- Minimum unrestricted HR class driver's license, HR or willingness to acquire within 3 months
- High Risk forklift license or willingness to acquire within 3 months
- A/C ticket, Work at heights, Dogging or rigging ticket holders desirable
