We are looking for enthusiastic and high performing Heavy Duty Diesel Fitters to join our Rio Tinto Iron Ore Pilbara Operations. You'll perform planned, preventative and breakdown maintenance across our extensive fleet of heavy mobile equipment and if you have a preference for which site you would like to be based at, let us know. The ideal candidate will have experience with the following

  • Conduct routine inspections of the mobile maintenance fleet and determine repair action when required
  • Actively contribute to continuous improvement projects - increasing safety whilst reducing risk & cost
  • Utilise SAP to ensure that maintenance tasks are recorded, assigned correctly and completed to the relevant standard / specification

You'll be part of a friendly and inclusive team, supported by your Supervisor to grow and achieve your own personal goals as well as the goals of the team. You'll do 8 days on, 6 days off, 7 nights on, 7 nights off which will give you more time to spend on the things that are important to you and the people in your life. You can commute to site directly from Perth, Busselton, Albany, Geraldton or Broome so you can grow your career while continuing to enjoy the lifestyle you choose. If you don't currently reside in Western Australia, we'll provide full relocation so you can enjoy the incredible lifestyle.

What you'll bring
