Road Trains of Australia (RTA) prides itself in having over a decade of experience in safe & dependable transportation of livestock, petroleum and bulk commodities throughout the north of Western Australia, Northern Territory and Queensland in their fleet of 90+ prime movers.
RTA are currently seeking a fully qualified Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic to join the business on a full-time basis and depending upon experience the successful candidate can be paid between $70K to 90K per year plus 11% super.
As a Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic you will maintain our equipment to ensure it is roadworthy and your duties will include, but are not limited to:
• Repairs, servicing checks and Service of Heavy-Duty Road trucks
• Maintain completed work records to an acceptable standard
• Comply with all relevant legislation, regulations and the company's policies & procedures
The successful candidate will have:
• Trade qualifications as a Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic
• A valid HR/MC license (desirable but not essential)
• Willingness to undertake and clear a full Medical & drug & alcohol fitness assessment
• Provide Rights to work in Australia
• Great attention to detail, taking pride in your work
• National Police Clearance
