The Opportunity:
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and committed employee to come on board with us at Laminex as a HR Driver, based out of our Tullamarine Distribution Centre in Melbourne's northern suburbs.
This is a permanent full-time position, working standard dayshift hours from typically starting at 5am or 6am.
The full-time rate is above award + super + overtime (OT) as required.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Delivering packs of laminate (up to 3.6m long) to customers and businesses to Melbourne and surrounds
- Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements and load restraint
- Forklift driving - counter balance forklifts, mainly loading and unloading trucks with packs of laminate up to 3.6m long (if licensed)
- Manual labour, including lifting, packing, cleaning and walking around the site
- Completing warehouse related paperwork.
About you:
We are looking for a people focused and safety minded person who is ready to join a leading business in a pivotal role.
You must have a keen attitude and willingness to learn new things along with the following skills and experience:
- Current HR Truck License - with 6 months + exp driving manual trucks (ideally Tautliners)
- LF forklift licence is highly regarded
- Must be able to work autonomously
- Strong customer service skills
- Physically fit as there is some manual lifting involved in this role
- Exceptional awareness of safety in the workplace
- Above award pay rate
- Flexible Parental Leave policy of 26 weeks at full pay or 52 weeks at half pay
