21 Timbers is a family owned and operated timber merchant based in Loganholme. We sell timber wholesale, as well as providing materials to builders and direct to the public. We offer delivery of timber to work sites and wholesale clients.

About the role
Normal working hours are between 6am to 4pm Mon-Fri (40 hrs/week minimum). Saturday work is available at times. You will be required to load and deliver packs of timber to customers using a Heavy Rigid vehicle, with a vehicle loading crane. Conditions of work sites may be less than ideal, and deliveries must be carried out to adhere to applicable workplace health and safety practices. You will be required to check delivery dockets against stock held on the vehicle, as well as plan, schedule and navigate time efficient deliveries.

Skills and experience
Current HR license (road ranger), current forklift license, the ability to operate a vehicle loading crane (HIAB) and a safe driving record are essential.
Applicants must have demonstrated ability to complete assigned tasks within agreed timeframes without supervision and be able to make decisions at short notice to ensure deliveries are made safely and with minimal delay.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate abilities in customer dealings, good interpersonal communication skills, working as part of a team, and an ability to action constructive feedback are preferable.
Timber industry experience would be favourable but not essential.
