The company services the market with a fleet of Mobile Processing Units (MPU's), five state-of-the-art emulsion-manufacturing facilities and a fast-growing 250 strong workforce. In addition to their Australia business, they are also a world leader in the production of industrial grade ammonium nitrate, operating and exporting explosives to more than 40 countries globally. About the role Our client is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join their team on site in Boddington, WA. This position is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently on both mobile and fixed plant.This role will see you providing scheduled servicing, repairs, breakdown support and general servicing to Scania, IEE and JCB Equipment. This position is a DIDO role from Perth, WA and will operate on 8 days on, 6 days off roster (Day shift only) with accommodation and meals provided. Relocation Assistance may be provided for candidates wishing to relocate from interstate. Skills and Experiences required to be successful in this role: Trade qualifications in Certificate III in either Heavy Vehicle Mechanical Technology, Mobile Plant Technology Advantageous or Automotive Electrical Technology Previous experience in the maintenance of heavy road vehicles and plant equipment. Sound mechanical / electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic aptitude. Experience in fixed manufacturing plant maintenance.Experience in, fault finding and working understanding of low voltage electrical systems and automated safety control systems. Ability to develop strong, long-term relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Current HR Drivers Licence.
