About the role
Council is seeking a qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join the team in Warwick. You will play a critical role in the Workshop team by carrying out repairs and maintenance to Council plant, equipment and infrastructure.

To be successful in this role you will have:
- Practical experience in maintenance and repairs on a range of plant, fleet, small and fixed plant
- Basic computer literacy and the ability to utilise current workplace technology
- Proven ability in the use of electronic diagnostic equipment to investigate the repair needs of plant and Heavy Vehicles
Pay Level $2,309.20 - $2,425.85 per fortnight (Level C10 –C8) + superannuation
+ applicable allowances
Tool Allowance - $47.10 per fortnight
Dirt Allowance – up to $55.40 per fortnight
In accordance with Council’s Enterprise Agreement and the relevant Award.
Pay rate dependent on relevant skills and experience.
Status Permanent , Full-time
Hours of Work 76 hours per fortnight, 9 day fortnight or as negotiated
