Job Description:An exciting opportunity is now available for a reliable full time Help Desk Supervisor. This role is responsible for the provision of administrative support services to management and the Helpdesk/Call centre function by Downer on-site at Head Quarters Joint Operations Command (HQJOC) at Bungendore. The role is FT on site with a rotating roster. Flexibility in availability will be required
Responsibilities:This role includes:- Working in a challenging high security environment, often under pressure
- Dealing with conflicting priorities
- Must be able to plan, organise and prioritise work to meet strict deadlines and provide timely and accurate information to all stakeholders.
- Provide quality customer service to internal Downer parties.
- Develop good working relationships with all stakeholders.
- Provide administrative support to management, including coordinating all Human Resources activities for HQJOC and provide input into the HQJOC monthly report.
Qualifications:Skills and Experience- Ability to hold an appropriate Defence Security Clearance (Australian citizenship mandatory)
- Exceptional internal and external customer service skills
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Experience dealing with the public Knowledge of necessary procedures and processes for operating a Call Centre / Helpdesk Function
- Solid background and experience in office administration
- Experience with the ability to utilise and understand software programs such as Microsoft Access, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, e-mail, internet and intranet.
