Higher Education Administrator-Part Time(SYDNEY)

Role:
Kent is currently seeking a highly motivated Part-Time(20 hours per week) Higher Education Administrator. This role will be based at our Sydney Campus and will report to the Associate Dean. The Higher Education Administrator is responsible for the administration of academic service provision for both staff and students resulting in effective and efficient course delivery in Higher Education.
Key Tasks:
- Provide course advice and co-ordinate certification processes
- Assist with the assessment of exemptions following Kent policy and procedures
- Liaise with various personnel at all Kent campuses regarding course delivery administration
- Assist with the implementation of student surveys
- Prepare stationery order and submission for purchase
- Manage the preparation of student graduation transcripts and testamurs
- Report identified computer hardware, software issues or faulty equipment matters to the IT staff
- Assist in scheduling and staffing classes, academic courses, and associated administration, including managing submission of timesheets for casual lecturers.
- Maintain student records including attendance, results, and graduation through the Student Information System (SIS)
- Assist with the management and training of staff involved in enrolment
- Participate in and assist with enrolment activities and undertake review of course credit transfer applications
- Assist with new students’ orientation program
Desirable:
- Tertiary qualifications
- At least 2 years or more experience in a similar role
- Student Information Systems (RTO Manager) program knowledge
