Hoist Operator Required, North Brisbane!

THE OPPORTUNITY

JV have work with one of Brisbane's Largest NON EBA Commercial Builders in North Brisbane.

They are seeking a Commercial Hoist Operator for their current project, with work in the pipeline till late 2024. Applicants should view this role as an opportunity to get your foot in the door with a well-known commercial builder. We have had workers recently make the transition to Full time with the company so they are a builder open to hiring good workers full time.

The Commercial Hoist Operator will be expected to assist with labouring duties as part of their role. Please make sure you know before applying that the role isn’t solely a Commercial Hoist Operator role.

ROLE DUTIES

• Hoist Operating
• Assisting trades 
• Basic site cleaning
• Moving materials
• Assisting with deliveries

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 12 months construction site experience
• Must have a white card
• Hoist Ticket
• Must have work rights in Australia
• A good attitude and solid work ethic
• Own transport desirable but not essential

ON OFFER

• $38-$40 per hour + super
• Daily Travel Allowance ($21.19)  
• Meal allowance included (over 9.5 hours on a shift)
• Time and a half and double-time rates paid for overtime
• On-going role with overtime
