Address PlantGrowPick Pty Ltd is looking for 15 horticultural labourers to start in late May through to late June 2024 for an employment period of 9 months on a flower and herbs farm in Glossodia NSW.
Key responsibilities for these positions will include:
• physical labour,
• planting and pruning seedlings,
• picking and packing flowers and herbs,
• weeding and mulching, and
• general labour, as required.
Requirements of the role:
• being on your feet, standing for long periods of time,
• walking long distances,
• lifting heavy objects,
• working in various conditions (hot humid through to cold weather),
• be available for shift work as well as working out the entire season.
Successful applicants will be paid as a pieceworker or by the relevant hourly award rate depending on the work performed (pay rates are based on the Horticulture Award 2020 MA000028).
Work is available 5 days a week, Monday to Friday, for a minimum of 30 hours a week. However, sometimes work will also be available on weekends.
