Horticulturist /Qualified Greenkeeper

Marsupial Landscape Management is seeking a Horticulturist / Qualified Greenkeeper for our high-performing and friendly team located in the Canberra region.

Responsibilities include:

• Leadership of a small team of Ground Persons

• Client liaison and relationship building

• Management of projects to ensure that agreed outcomes are achieved within time and budgets.

• Supporting various landscape management duties as required, including:

• Mowing

• Chemical application

• Mulching

• Pruning

• Pest and disease identification

• Hedging and weeding

• Machinery operation, care, and maintenance

About you:

• Manual driver’s licence

• Minimum Certificate III in Sports Turf Management (Desirable)

• Experience in, and an understanding of, annual turf renovation practices and requirements (Desirable)

• Chemcert accredited

• Valid white card

• Asbestos Awareness

• Crystalline Silica Exposure Prevention

• Excellent communication skills

• Customer service focus is essential

• Prior experience leading a highly engaged team
