About the roleOur goal to build 'healthier rural people and thriving communities' is the shared responsibility of all involved in care of our patients and the Hospital Assistant is an integral and valued member of our team.
You will help nursing staff in hospitals and other health care establishments with non-medical duties including housekeeping, portering patients and general assistance.
This varied and interesting role which may include transferring patients within the hospital, linen maintenance & medical supply restocking, cooking and/or preparing light refreshments of patients, general cleaning as required including rooms and equipment, and assisting generally as directed by nursing staff.
