Hospitality Admin & Catering Rostering Co-ordinator

Ventia is seeking a Hospitality Admin & Catering Rostering Co-ordinator for the upcoming US Marine rotation. This role is primarily Monday to Friday but may include some weekend/on call work. As part of the Hospitality team, you will be required to organise and monitor a rostering system which encompasses 5 busy messes delivering daily catering services to Defence members.

Immediate start – October 2024.

Specific requirements of the role will include:

• Ensure Hospitality & Catering, across all sites, are adequately staffed by analysing and understanding the make-up of the current workforce
• Back filling vacancies on rosters
• Actioning roster changes for BOH & FOH staff members
• Assisting Supervisors with staffing issues 

Skills & Experience:

• Excellent Communication Skills
• Knowledge of Hospitality and Catering service delivery is preferred but not essential
• Intermediate IT skills
• The ability to learn online rostering systems

Special conditions:

• This position requires you to pass an Australian Federal Police check
• Must have working rights
• Must have a car/transport to base
