Located on the 35th floor of the Sofitel Sydney Darling Harbour, Lumiere on Thirty Five is Sydney's newest luxury bar and are looking for talented craftsmen to join their team.
Job Description
  • Manage seating plans and table rotation on Resdiary, ensuring tables are properly set prior to seating guests.
  • Welcome and greet guests at the host desk and seat them according to table plan.
  • Distribute reservations among all servers equally, informing them of all information necessary such as Birthdays, anniversaries, or any other requests.
  • Ensure host desk is fully stocked at all times with clean menus and wine lists.
  • Ensure all checklists are completed before service and conclusion of the shift.
  • Sound product knowledge of all menus and wine lists including being well versed in all Menu’s available, food service systems and Micros operating skills.
  • Perform the tasks of order taking and maximize sales opportunities through knowledge of product and suggestive selling. Ensure accuracy by repeating order(s) to the guests.
  • Check ordered meals on collection from kitchen and deliver to guests promptly to maintain temperature and appearance, ensure items are announced.
  • Demonstrate the “Passion for Excellence” through serving our guests with flair and professionalism, ensuring that their requests are quickly and efficiently achieved.
  • Ensure all guests are provided with personalised service and that the “Essence of Pleasure” is achieved.
  • Embody the art of French hospitality through a “can do” attitude.
  • Perform tasks within a timely manner.
  • Follow up on all guest comments, requests and complaints while informing the Supervisor and Assistant Manager of all such matters.
