Hotel Federal- Food & Beverage Attendant

Hotel Federal, Wynyard are looking for a positive and customer focused, Food, Bar and Gaming Attendant to join our team on a casual basis.

In this role you will be responsible for attending to enquiries from our gaming patrons, preparing and dispensing beverages and providing exceptional customer service.

Your duties will include, but limited to:

• Managing and maintaining gaming functions and operations
• Managing TAB functions
• Day to day operations of gaming rooms
• Assisting patrons with both food and beverage orders, inquires and complaints
• Uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards

To be successful in this role you will have the following:

• Demonstrated cash handling proficiency
• Knowledge of all gaming machine regulations, compliance, operations, and procedures
• An understanding of Food & Beverage products and services
• A professional & mature “can do” attitude with the ability to work autonomously

Our ideal candidate will have the following:

• Current Responsible Service of Gaming Certificate (RSG)
• Current Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (RSA)
• Keno Writer & Gaming Machine Attendant or Senior Keno Writer and Gaming Machine Supervisor Certificates
• TAB experience would be an advantage

Please note to be successful for this role you need to be able to work a variety of night and weekend shifts, which may include public holidays.
