Job description

The role: We currently have an opportunity for an exceptionally motivated hospitality leadership professional to join our team on a full time basis at ViTA located in Daw Park. As our Hotel Services Team Leader, you will proudly take the ownership of our daily hotel services operations, ensuring great resident hospitality experiences while overseeing compliance and meeting financial goals across food, dining and housekeeping operations, resident experiences & consumer satisfaction.

What you'll do:
Management of catering, dining experience, cleaning and laundry
Lead a team and drive culture that genuinely puts hospitality at the heart of what they do
Continually drive a team to create and deliver exceptional customer experiences
Support a positive environment, challenge the status quo and inspire your team to do the same
Continually seek improvements, identifying and addressing gaps
Manage the hospitality budget for the site

About You!

The role demands a person with outstanding communication skills and ability to building strong relationships with people and stakeholders at all levels, along with:

Experience leading with emotional intelligence, coach and mentor your team to ensure they have the soft skills to effectively run the hospitality operations of the site
Experience in the management of hotel, resort, golf club, airline lounge or similar professional experience
Skills to provide feedback on performance and lead succession planning processes for team members
Demonstrated ability to lead large teams and implement transformative change within teams and organisations
Proven customer engagement and complaint resolution approach
Computer literacy with the ability to use Microsoft Office suite and learn multiple databases
Excellent communication and customer service skills to deal with a wide range of customers

You will need:
To care about supporting older people to live a Good Life.
Flu & up to date COVID-19 vaccinations
A Police Check for unsupervised contact / vulnerable groups less than 12 months old

It would be helpful if you had:
Diploma of hospitality management or similar qualification
