Qualifications & experience
- 2 years of previous experience in a similar customer service role, preferably in the hospitality industry is preferred
- High level of communication in English is essential to effectively interact with guests from different cultural backgrounds, both verbally and written
- Demonstrated willingness and capability to learn about hotel operations, policies, and procedures
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to finding solutions and resolving guest issues
- Ability to adapt to various situations and remain calm under pressure, ensuring professionalism and guest satisfaction
- Basic proficiency with computers and office tools to perform admin-related tasks efficiently
- Friendly and approachable demeanour, with strong customer service skills and a helpful and accommodating attitude towards guest requests
Tasks & responsibilities
- Housekeeping services/ room preparation & presentation at a high level
- Stock management Linen ordering and stocking Amenities ordering and stocking
- Team management Rostering, Hiring & Training of staff/housekeepers
- Adherance to Quest standards, procedures and policies
- Administration, reporting and managing maintenance issues
- Timesheet management for payroll
- Continual improvement of housekeeping function
- Ability to resolve guest complaints in a timely fashion & elimination of guest complaints related to Housekeeping issues
