  • Thoroughly inspect designated rooms and public areas, guest corridors, guest lift, lobbies, service areas, cupboards, fire exits, staircases.
  • Ensuring that these areas are systematically cleaned in accordance with the established procedure.
  • Supporting the Housekeeping Team while on shift to meet and where possible exceed customer and guest expectations, enabling the Housekeeping team of the hotel to be recognized as purveying consistent, quality and value for money accommodation
  • Competent in opening and closing procedures for the Housekeeping
  • Assist with identifying areas where re-training, refresher training and self-checking training is required, and conduct training accordingly.
  • Ensure that the control and procedures of “Lost and Found” is properly recorded and stored accordingly.
  • Greeting guests' ensuring enquiries and complaints are actioned in a caring and courteous manner and that they are reported to the Housekeeping management team.
  • Inform the Housekeeping Manager and Supervisor of any instances of misconduct by staff.
  • Direct all reports of any incidents, complaints, suspicious persons or safety hazards to the Housekeeping Manager or Housekeeping Supervisor
  • Monitoring room cleaning times to ensure productivity is maintained
  • ny other reasonable duties within the Housekeeping management team scoope as required
QualificationsWhat are we looking for?
  • Proven experience in team leading roles within a Hotel environment
  • A team player able to work collaboratively with all departments
  • Friendly, professional and engaging demeanour with the ability to remain calm, positive, and level-headed during peak service periods dealing with any situations that may come your way
  • Accountability and proactivity
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to go out of your way to create memorable experiences for our guests
  • Excellent communication skills with fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
  • A high standard of grooming and presentation
  • Flexibility regarding your work availability is essential, as we operate 7 days a week, including public holidays
