About the Role

Our purpose: "Together, Our House Your Home"

Reporting to the Online Maintenance Supervisor Community Infrastructure, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating the maintenance and repair activities to approximately 1,200 residential properties in Port Hedland.

This is a key role with a strong purpose in supporting the Supervisor in enabling the Community Infrastructure team to meet their commitment to provide well maintained residential homes.

  • Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations and protocols, promoting a safe working environment.
  • Plan and schedule maintenance activities, including routine inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance to minimise downtime and disruptions.
  • Collaborate with other stakeholders to prioritise maintenance needs and ensure timely resolution of maintenance issues.
  • Evaluate and recommend improvements to maintenance processes and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Liaise with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers to obtain quotes, coordinate services and ensure high-quality deliverables.

  • Trade Knowledge: Demonstrate an understanding of all trade work and can use this knowledge to support the team and its customers. *Certificate III Trade Certificate (highly desirable)
  • Valid "C" Class Drivers Licence: Hold a current full West Australian driver's license or current equivalent Australian State
  • Computer Literacy: Fluent with Microsoft Office Suite, 1SAP and planning systems
