Here at Kellanova we have an exciting opportunity to join our HR team. In this newly created role, the HR Advisor will work with our Supply Chain cohort based out of Botany, closely working with our Operator community. You will partner with the business to provide operational support whilst also using expert HR knowledge to support people conversations. You will provide support for end to end employee lifecycle activities such as recruitment, on/off-boarding, reward & recognition, learning and development, talent management, HRIS and reporting, employee relations, talent management and culture and engagement activities.

A Taste Of What You'll Be Doing:-
• First point of contact for HR advice, confidently and accurately answering employee/manager queries and executing decisions in a timely manner.
• Interpretation and application of Botany Enterprise agreement for operators and ANZ policies and procedures for salaried employees.
• Coach, counsel and guide managers throughout the performance and/or disciplinary process, ensuring adherence to Company policies and procedures and relevant employment relations legislation.
• Support Operations team in managing ill and injured workers - submitting extended sick leave applications, developing return to work plans and monitoring effectiveness.
• Manage end to end recruitment support for Operator recruitment
• Partner with Hiring Managers and Talent Acquisition Business Partner to support on-boarding preparations and induction schedules
• Support myHR data management, GBS liaison & Reporting, and act as a back up to the ANZ HR Operations Analyst

Your Recipe For Success: -
You will currently work in a HR field where no two days are the same and you are able to balance competing priorities to deliver exceptional people outcomes. The ideal candidate will be able to build strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders across the business as well as working collaboratively with the wider HR team.

More specifically we're looking for the following skills, experience & attributes:
• Minimum 2-3 years previous generalist HR experience in a unionized or blue-collar environment.
• Experience interpreting Awards, Enterprise Agreements and relevant employment legislation and employment obligations across Australia.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as excellent organizational skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
• Qualifications in HR or equivalent preferred
