Our client is seeking a driven and experienced individual who will be responsible for creating and maintaining a safe, healthy, and productive work environment while providing comprehensive Human Resource Business Partner level on-site support
You will be the sole HR site representative while on shift and part of a small 4 person HR team, with 2 located in head office and 2 on-site.
8/6 Roster, 12hr days, 10+ years min. of mine life. Salary + bonus scheme. The HR Manager is looking for someone who wants the challenge of being part of HR strategy, setting up the foundations, and building it together as part of a small collaborative team.
About the role
- Being the on-site HR BP, your role will encompass providing efficient and effective HR services and support across various areas, including IR / ER management, workplace conflict resolution, disciplinary matters, investigations, and overall employee management;
- Coaching and mentoring leaders to enhance the skills necessary
- Deliver efficient HR services and support to key stakeholders from all levels of the organisation.
- Assisting the Human Resources Manager in developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives, including talent acquisition, on-boarding, retention, and leadership development;
- Managing and resolving workplace and disciplinary issues by providing essential support.
About You
- Preferred background in the mining or heavy industry
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or related discipline is preferred
- Proficiency in interpreting employment agreements and awards;
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership abilities; and
- Capacity to engage effectively with both internal and external stakeholders. Building strong trusted relationships across site.
