Our client in Melbourne East area specialises in hire, sales, manufacturing and installation of props and machinery. They are currently seeking a skilled and experienced HR Truck Driver to join their team.

As an HR Truck Driver, you will primarily operate a HR crane truck but may also handle smaller flatbed trucks with trailers and Utes. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills to contribute to our organization's success. $34 - $40 Per hour plus penalty rates for OvertimeMonday – Friday 7:00am to 3:00pmPermanent Work

Responsibilities:

• Operate HR crane truck efficiently and safely to transport goods and materials to designated locations
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and handling of goods
• Inspect and maintain vehicles, ensuring they are in optimal working condition
• Comply with all relevant traffic and safety regulations
• Keep accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents
• Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and supervisors to ensure smooth operations
• Assist with other warehouse or logistics tasks as required

Requirements:

• Valid HR license with a clean driving record
• Proven experience as an HR Truck Driver, preferably with crane truck experience
• Ability to operate smaller flatbed trucks with trailers and utes is desirable
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical fitness and stamina to handle loading and unloading tasks
• Willingness to undergo training if required for crane truck operation
