About The Opportunity
Are you an experienced HR, Rostering or Payroll compliance professional? SWSLHD is seeking a dynamic leader to head our HR Employment Hub teams.
Ensuring award and policy compliance is translated into the HR systems, this position will manage a team of 6, who are supporting line managers across our large District in ensuring 16,000 employees are rostered, paid and set up correctly and in time for the fortnightly payrun.
As the HR Employment Hub Team Leader you can expect to:
- Drive ongoing quality improvement initiatives, in the areas of Rostering, Award and Policy Compliance and HR.
- Manage and mentor a diverse team, while working in liaison with other internal HR teams to resolve matters and complete daily tasks.
- Communicate with and provide advice to a large range of internal and external stakeholders from clinical/ non-clinical backgrounds on rostering, payroll and employee compliance matters.
- Provide training across the district to frontline managers and staff.
- Identify areas for improvement, streamline processes and increase manager capabilities and overall compliance.
South Western Sydney LHD is rapidly growing with multiple large redevelopments underway (Liverpool Hospital) or in planning (Fairfield and Bankstown Hospitals). You will be part of the People and Culture portfolio working in a district wide role within the Employment Hub, who is responsible for all employee systems and their compliance; this includes the Recruitment, Rostering, Transactional, Establishment, Payroll and Employee Reporting functions.
