About the Role 
Are you a dynamic and dedicated human resources professional passionate about training and development in HR/IR? If so, there is an opportunity to join the Chamber of Commerce and Industry WA (CCIWA) as a HR Learning Facilitator!  

Reporting to the Principal HR & Learning, you will facilitate engaging and collaborative face-to-face learning sessions for HR and IR professionals. Beyond facilitation, you will play a key role in identifying training needs for clients and contributing to the development of new and relevant HR and IR training courses at CCIWA. Additionally, this position provides the opportunity to participate in business development activities to help drive the success of the learning function at CCIWA.  
 
This is a full time, permanent position, based in the Perth CBD.  
 
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Facilitating face-to-face learning in HR and IR; 
  • Preparation and maintenance of high quality training materials; 
  • Contribution to the identification and development of new training courses;  
  • Preparation of high quality materials and resources required for training courses;  
  • Collaboration with other sections of the Workplace Relations team to maximise the value to our members. 
  • Active participation in business development activities including: 
    • regularly attending networking functions to promote training courses;   
    • inviting members to and attending CCIWA events; 
    • managing relationships with attendees to promote further learning and development opportunities. 
About you
To be successful in this role, you will also have: 
  • Proven success in a similar role such as training co-ordinator, trainer or training facilitator  
  • Previous hands-on experience in a HR or IR role is strongly desirable  
  • Excellent organisational skills, time management and proven ability to complete full training cycle  
  • Collaborative and innovative mindset 
  • Strong commercial acumen and belief in supporting WA businesses
