Form of workFrontline are currently seeking for an HR & Health Safety Officer; this is a casual opportunity located in Coolaroo.
Our client is the largest manufacturer of fibreglass underground storage tanks and provides services across Australia and Globally. Our client's services extend from completing design to manufacturing and installing packages.
About the Role
As an HR and Health & Safety Officer, you will be a key business partner, responsible for day-to-day HR and Health & safety functions at the site.

- Start time 8am till 4pm
- Pay rate negotiated based on experience
Daily Duties:
- Have a good understanding of all company HR and OH&S requirements.
- Providing consistent, professional operational human resources advice, including policy
- Implementation of OH&S and quality training to staff
- Liaising with staff on issues relating to their employment and performance
- Communicating to management about issues and polices
- Training staff in ISO 9000 procedures
To be considered for this role, you must demonstrate the following:
- Minimum 3+ years' experience as People Culture or HR officer or equivalent
- NCEA Level 2 or equivalent (NZ) or VCE or equivalent (AUS)
- Strong good communication and people skills - we love team players!
- Detail-oriented, especially when handling confidential information.
- A deep understanding of Australian Employment and Occupational Health and Safety Legislation frameworks and best practice guidelines.
- Strong relationship-building, negotiation, influencing, and persuasion skills
- Familiarisation with employment law regs and training of staff in OHS compliance.
