Our client is Local Council searching for a HR/Payroll Systems Specialist to join its growing and best practice team. In this critical role, you will be instrumental in maintaining best practice processes, workflows and dependencies within the Council's HR & Payroll Systems.As the Subject Matter Expert for systems, this position is pivotal for all people data analysis, design, compilation, and report dissemination to the organisation.This is an ideal opportunity for a HR/Payroll Professional who enjoys driving internal efficiencies, building trust between employees and HR, and leveraging data to provide senior managers with reliable insights.This is a permanent position with a growing Local Council. This role will be joining a collaborative and relaxed team and will be reporting into a seasoned and supportive HR Leader.Main responsibilities;
- Develop strong relationships with both HR and Payroll teams whilst supporting both with a focus on process and systems improvements
- Be the super user for all people applications used by the HR and Payroll Teams
- Act as the SME for people reporting, identifying trends, data gaps, and annual workforce reporting requirements
- Lead the development, testing, and implementation of initiatives to all nominated HR/Payroll systems
- Support HR and Payroll teams with operational and strategic initiatives
