Blue Collar Recruitment is currently seeking enthusiastic drivers on a casual ongoing basis on a rotating roster to work any of the 7 days in the week and available to cover any of the shifts offered comprising 38 hours in the week.
The right candidate:
- Must hold a full and current HR or MR driver’s licence.
- Work in a fast-paced environment endorsing safety as priority.
- Is physically fit and must be able to pass a full medical including A&OD testing.
- Must be able to obtain a criminal history check/ASIC
- Has a great work ethic, willing to learn and progress?
- Have a Can Do/ Customer Service attitude
- Good verbal and written communication skills
The Job:
- load fully stocked aircraft trolleys onto trucks at the catering facility before delivering them to the aircraft.
- Airside duties include guiding our fleet of hi-lift vehicles for safe approach, servicing the aircraft, and final signoff with the crew
- Perform short distance driving duties.
- Marshalling the Driver on the tarmac to position the truck in line with company, airport, and airline policies.
- Preparation and packing of catering equipment.
- Load and unload trucks with carts, ovens, and standard units.
- All training & support provided
