Our client is a well-known charitable organisation here in Australia and across the world in need of an HR/Work Coordinator to join their team in an ongoing full-time casual basis within their Fullarton office.

About the role:
To provide administrative support to the Injury Management Team and manage a small portfolio of workplace injuries and Workers Compensation claims to proactively facilitate the quick resolution of issues so that employees return to work as soon as possible and the cost to the organisation is minimised.

This is a full-time, ongoing casual role.

Role responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to Injury Management Team nationally including injury allocation, records management, system and process administration, and other duties as required
  • Administrative maintenance of incident reporting and injury management databases, including: managing user access, entering missing data and maintaining system reporting including claims cost data
  • Manage WHS and IM Service Now tickets and provide expert advice to personnel queries or delegate to relevant team for action
  • Assist in calculating workers compensation payments including compensation rates, assisting with payroll process and wage reimbursement schedules from Insurers/Agents
  • Triage new injuries lodged within Solv Injury, notify Insurers/Agents as per relevant legislation and provide early intervention advice to personnel
  • Proactively manage allocated workers compensation claims in order to reduce overall claim duration and deliver positive outcomes for the organisation
  • Conduct worksite meetings and case conferences to support sustainable return to work outcomes
  • Conduct regular reviews to develop a holistic and strategic case management plan for each claim.
  • Build employee engagement by resolving workplace injury issues quickly and appropriately.
  • Develop strong relationships with internal leaders to ensure all injuries are being managed appropriately.
  • Develop strong external relationships with Insurers, doctors and health professionals in order to facilitate optimal, cost-effective outcomes for employees and the organisation.
  • Develop strong, collaborative working relationships with the HR team to ensure consistent delivery of best practice injury and Workers Compensation claims management services.
About you:
  • Experience in Allied Health, WHS, Human Resources or a related field (preferred).
  • Cert IV in WHS or equivalent (preferred)
  • Knowledge of injury management processes, policies and legislation.
  • South Australia Return To Work Coordinator (RTWC) certification
  • Act Ethically and with Integrity

  • Provide customer service to people with WHS and injury related enquiries
  • A national police record check is required
  • Compulsory Code of Conduct, WHS and Bullying and Harassment training modules must be completed and up to date.
  • Must hold full Drivers Licence
