We are proudly part of Japan Post - www.tollgroup.com The Opportunity: Join our team at Toll Group as we seek a dedicated Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Information Systems Analyst. This is a part-time opportunity (3 days per week) and can be based in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane. The HSE Information Systems Analyst is a key role within the HSE Information and Report Team that provides technical, functional and data analytical support of the HSSE Team's software applications, these include, but are not limited to Toll Risk and Compliance (TRAC), and Solv systems to embed the effective functioning of the systems across Toll's business operations. This role will work in collaboration with the HSE Information and Reporting Officer to resolve issues and requests which involve information system solution design and data analytics, and will use Toll's Vantage, Service Now and vendor ticketing systems to record the timely resolution of issues and requests. Address end user issues promptly with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Communicate system outages and updates transparently.
Maintain expertise in Information Systems, processes, and user permissions.
Collaborate with stakeholders to assess business needs and develop data collection strategies.
Develop, test, and secure data collection systems to meet HSE and business requirements.
Improve processes, automate tasks, optimize data delivery, and enhance scalability.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
Demonstrated experience in an HSE advisory role.
Experience within the transport, logistics, or heavy industry is desirable.
Experience with supporting multiple sites or a geographically diverse business is desirable.
Experience with building scalable data solutions including implementation and customisation of business intelligence tools and internal processing of HSE system enhancements
Experience in data analysis, reporting and visualization, using languages and software such as SQL, VBA, and business intelligence (BI) tools (Tableau, Power BI, or other), Donsafe.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; ability to organize and synthesise large datasets and use data to identify patterns and problems and formulate solutions.
