About the role:
As HSE (QSE) Advisor you will be responsible for the monitoring and delivery of our health, safety and environment program across blue chip projects for Tier One clients.
Reporting to the State Managers and National QSE Manager you will be accountable for:
- Leading and promoting the Delta QSE Management System, whilst encompassing a proactive environmental, health and safety culture across the SA branch
- Reporting and advising on health, safety and environmental matters.
- Ongoing maintenance and development of our Integrated Management System.
- Working collaboratively with all employees to provide practical, logical support and advice.
- The coordination and facilitation of external audits (ISO, OFSC, NHVR, Client).
- Event management and reporting
- The development and implementation of project specific QSE documentation.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum 4 years’ experience working in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Minimum Cert IV WHS or WHS Diploma
- ICAM training
- Current First Aid/CPR
- Cert IV Workplace Trainer and Assessor (desirable)
- Working knowledge of construction workplace practices and resources sector.
- High level computer skills and systems minded.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage people across all levels of the business.
- Proven ability to prioritise and make decisions independently and in a timely manner.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment.
- A passionate and enthusiastic approach to safety.
