HSET Advisor - 2/2 Roster

Techforce Personnel are a national recruitment agency and project management firm specialising in blue & white collar recruitment across mining and resources, shutdowns, facilities maintenance, industrial services, civil construction and the oil and gas industries.

We currently have an opportunity for a HSET Advisor with a TAE 116 to join one of our trusted clients!

Reporting to the HSE Manager you will be responsible for providing support to corporate and project teams in the delivery of work activities safely and to ensure health, safety & environmental management system compliance as well as completing mobile plant based Training & Assessing

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Implement, audit and conduct inspections of site specific HSE management systems
• Assist operational teams in complying with the HSE Management system
• Develop and implement new HSE initiatives
• Compile and issue HSE based reports (incident reports, trends analysis)
• Communicate HSE requirements to project/corporate teams
• Monitor the implementation of operational safety, health and environmental policies and programs
• Ensure effective communication of HSE information across the site
• Conduct incident investigations and issue findings to project team and management teams as required
• Provide training & advice on health and safety matters to site work areas.
• Perform training activities and assessments on various mobile plant equipment
• Creating plans and delivering site training objectives
• Developing retraining plans for those who do not achieve the required result during the assessment activity

Essential Requirements:

• Cert IV OH&S (Essential)
• Cert IV Training & Assessing 116 (Essential)
• White Card
• Training Assessing on Mobile plant equipment experience
• Construction mining experience
• Full, current drivers license
• Minimum intermediate level across the Microsoft office suite of programs
• Previous experience within HSE databases
• Ability to communicate effectively with a range of key stakeholders
• Current MRL inductions
