We are seeking a rare opportunity to join our team as the Health, Safety, Environment and Training (HSET) Manager based on site at our Iron Bridge operations located 145km away from Port Hedland, and is offered on a 4:3 roster from Perth.The HSET Manager will lead a team of safety and training professionals to deliver strategic advice, system development, and necessary operational support to achieve health, safety and training excellence across the operation.In this role, you will:
- Manage the development, implementation and ongoing compliance to the health and safety governance framework.
- Establish strategic plans and advice that reflect our business needs and maintains our position as an industry leader in H&S.
- Actively support managers and supervisors to continually develop their safety leadership skills and ensure ONE HSE Culture Framework is embedded.
- Provide ongoing training support to the operation via direct reports to ensure site roles and personnel have the skills and knowledge to safely and efficiently perform their duties.

- Demonstrated experience in leading the development and implementation of Safety Management Systems on site.
- Possess strong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills and be able to demonstrate your ability to provide safety support to leaders to enable movement beyond compliance.
- Ability to lead Health, Safety and Training teams in a dynamic environment.
- Hold a tertiary qualification in Health and Safety or a related field
- Have a thorough understanding of the operational training requirements that support the mining operations.
- Minimum Diploma in OHS
- Demonstrated experience in open pit mine operations
- Sound knowledge of The Work Health and Safety Act 2020 and The Work Health Safety (Mines) Regulations 2022.
- Lead Auditor Qualification (desirable)
- Cert IV TAE (desirable)
