Job description

The College is seeking a vibrant, enthusiastic and dedicated teacher to join our Secondary school in the Religion and HSIE Department.

The ideal candidate will be highly competent to teach Stage 4-5 HSIE (History, Geography). Ability to teach Stage 6 HSIE or Stage 4-6 Religion would be beneficial.

This position commences in Term 2, 2024.

Specific Criteria:

  • Be passionate about quality Catholic education.
  • Possess a proven understanding of quality teaching.
  • Excellent classroom management.
  • Be able to be part of a collaborative professional learning team.
  • Proven record as a teacher in the subject area.
  • Excellent pedagogical practices including implementing ICT.
  • Have the ability to improve student learning.
  • Be willing to contribute and participate in the College’s extra curricular activities.
  • Be committed to ongoing professional learning.
