Human Resources Business Partner- 12-month contract

Exciting opportunity in Australia! Join us as a Human Resources Business Partner on a 12-month maternity leave contract. You’ll be pivotal in supporting our business areas, collaborating closely with senior leadership, and reporting to the HR Manager Business Partnering.

What are my accountabilities? 

  • Develop and implement HR strategy and key initiatives.
  • Collaborate with HR colleagues and Centre of Excellence leaders.
  • Drive HR agenda alongside Business Unit/Functional leaders to achieve business objectives.
  • Embed Sedgwick culture and values in partnership with Business Unit/Functional leaders.
  • Work closely with international HR colleagues.
  • Provide effective ER/IR/performance management solutions to achieve positive outcomes.

About you: 

  • Generalist HR management experience, adept at influencing senior leaders.
  • Exposure to supporting organizational change (business and culture).
  • Experience in a matrix organization.
  • Background in Insurance/Claims Management/Professional Services.
  • Proficiency in HR systems, ideally with prior experience in Workday.
  • Demonstrated success in Employee Relations (ER) case management.
