About the College
As a Catholic School, Thomas Carr College aims to educate our students with an appreciation of the spiritual as well as the intellectual and physical aspects of their lives. We aim to work with our parents to produce young people of faith and character. We are a Catholic Co-educational College in Tarneit, West of Melbourne with 1200 students.
The Role
The College is seeking suitably qualified and experienced teachers to join our team in the Humanities area.
Skills and experience
Demonstrate a strong understanding of, and commitment to, Catholic education
- Demonstrate an understanding and acceptance of the Thomas Carr College Vision and Mission Statement and the values that underpin it
- Show the capacity to provide leadership that is characterised by a desire for continuous improvement, lateral thinking and innovation
- Display knowledge and expertise in a range of subject areas across the Victorian Curriculum
- Demonstrate proven organisational skills
- Demonstrate highly developed interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to liaise and communicate effectively with people at all levels and from varying backgrounds
- Work independently and effectively in the face of changing priorities, deadlines and pressures
- Demonstrate the qualities of an exemplary teacher
