UGL Fuels & Energy are seeking applications from experienced HV Electricians & E&I Techniciansfor upcoming casual or permanent opportunities on an LNG site. Based on Curtis Island, Gladstone Central Qld, you will join an established team working on a live gas plant. Our contract with our client is secure having successfully negotiated our next term and extensions.
We have short term and long term positions available in both Projects and Maintenance.
These positions are residential roles and local applicants are strongly encouraged to apply.

· Uphold and ensure compliance with standards for performance, behaviour and processes
· Promote and contribute to the prevention of hazards, improvements and environmental awareness in the workplace
· Identify risks and maintain awareness amongst employees and process conditions in a Major Hazardous Facility
· Responsible for working in a safe, productive and environmentally responsible manner always
About you
· QLD Electrical Licence
· Cert III Instrumention
· Current CPR / LVR
· EEHA Certification - preferred
· Construction Induction
· HV Switching Certification
· HV Experience in maintaining, testing, and commissioning high voltage and low voltage assets including:
o Transformers and motors
o Protection relay and secondary injection testing.
o Installation and testing of earthing systems.
o Testing and commissioning of UPS and battery charge systems
o using Omicron test equipment, or similar.
· High Risk Work Licence – EWP - preferred
· Work at Heights Certification - preferred
· Drivers Licence - preferred
· Ability to read, interpret and understand plans, diagrams, drawings and specifications
· High levels of attention to detail
· Excellent communication skills
· Great time management skills
· The ability to work within a team and unsupervised
