The Role
As a HVAC and Refrigeration Technician in our expanding team, you will be responsible for service, installation and commissioning works.
We provide a diverse range of project opportunities with client scopes based in Perth, regional onshore, offshore and overseas.
This role is open to applicants in Australia. Can be supported either based in Perth, WA or Interstate FIFO
Due to the security clearance required for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen
- To provide skilled labour, technical and design support to the HVAC (Oil and Gas) Division
- Ability to carry out survey, testing, maintenance, repair, upgrade and commissioning works on client sites and assets
- Excellent component and pipework installation knowledge and experience
- Ability to diagnose electrical and mechanical defects and malfunctions
- Assist in identification and pricing of parts and tooling requirements
- Prepare and or review technical and client work pack scopes of work as required
- Strong WHS knowledge and understating of required systems and procedures including inductions, hazard identification and reporting, permits to work etc
- Ensure complete daily tasks in a competent, safe and satisfactory business-like manner acceptable to both our customers and MizCo
- Ensure all work reports and any required documentation are completed accurately and legibly
Skills and Experience
- Trade Licence (HVAC) Cert III in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning
- Experience in Commercial or Industrial Air Conditioning and Refrigeration
- Current ARCTick Licence
- Restricted OR Unrestricted Electrical Licence
- C Class Drivers’ Licence
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong customer service skills and communication
- Excellent pipework installation experience and skills
- Motivated to meet pre-employment requirements quickly e.g. return paperwork, complete online inductions, successfully pass pre-employment medical and drug screen.
