The Role

The ideal candidate will be mechanically minded, have a mature approach, friendly personality and be willing to learn and start a career. 

Your duties will involve learning and assisting with the service, maintenance and installation of various commercial and retail HVAC plant & equipment whilst undertaking TAFE training.

Previous experience across the above-mentioned HVAC work and strong communication skills are favourable competencies required for this role. The most suitable candidate will possess the ability and willingness to undertake all aspects of HVAC systems.

Key Competencies:

  • Ability to work in a team environment and untaken instruction to assist with the installation of systems
  • Willingness to learn to read plans and schematic drawing interpretation
  • Be well presented
  • Be enthusiastic and have a willingness to learn
  • Show initiative and a mature work ethic
  • Clear verbal and written communication
  • Be willing to work overtime as required
  • Commercial Service experience would be looked upon favourably
  • National police check will be completed prior to employment
  • White Card required
  • Strong commitment to safe work practices is essential
  • Driver's license and own transport required
  • Flu vaccination and Covid vaccination required
