They provide air treatment systems to a multitude of clients from manufacturing sites, data centres, commercial sites and other industrial sites. The work is generally in the Sydney Metro area and the depot is based out of Western Sydney, and this is a great opportunity for a technician who is looking to expand on their current skill-set and receive full training on their range of products.
Your new role
As a Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our clients' air treatment systems. You'll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining equipment, providing exceptional service to our clients, and contributing to overall customer satisfaction. Your responsibilities will be as follows:
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on air treatment systems, including dehumidifiers, evaporative coolers, and other related products.
- Diagnose technical issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions promptly.
- Interact with customers professionally, addressing their concerns, answering questions, and providing guidance on system usage and maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and parts used. Complete service reports and submit them in a timely manner.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during service visits, ensuring a safe work environment for yourself and others. Work closely with other team members, including engineers, sales representatives, and project managers, to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Stay updated on products, technologies, and service procedures through ongoing training and professional development.
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience working with commercial HVAC systems in breakdown repair, general maintenance and planned maintenance.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-centric approach.
- Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues efficiently.
- Cert III in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
- ARCtick Licence
- Would need to be open to travelling to regional areas 1 in 6 weeks.
- A valid driver's licence.
- A willingness to learn new systems and a real interest in developing your own skill set.
